December 10, 20214 yr Can you elaborate, please? What kind of help do you need? 747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.
December 10, 20214 yr To delete your shaders goto C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\Shaders and delete all files there. You will need to edit the path's <username> to match your setup. Or if you are using Lorby's PAO, under tools is a click to delete shaders. December 10, 20214 yr To delete the content of the Shaders folder, especially if you need to delete the content often, you can create a link in the Shaders folder and drag it to the Desktop, so you will avoid having to type the entire path every time while you just need to open the link on the Desktop and delete the content.

The above said, and while the reload shaders is useful, it doesn't clear and reload, it just reloads the current in use and leaves a folder still full of old compilied shader files. What I have is a variation of RobPol471's shortcuts idea. Basically it's a folder into which I've placed all the shortcuts to the various P3D locations I need to get to, such as compiled shaders, DB index files, config files, the main app link and addons links, screen grabs, vids, downloads, etc. Besides crashes of the software, this pic illustrates the sort of wierd things that can happen when the sharder cache is not fully cleared. Ryzen 5800X clocked to 4.7 Ghz (SMT off), 32 GB ram, Samsung 1 x 1 TB NVMe 970, 2 x 1 TB SSD 850 Pro raided, Asus Tuf 3080Ti P3D 4.5.14, Orbx Global, Vector and more, lotsa planes too.
