December 12, 20214 yr When Track Ir is paused I can move the eye position with Ctrl/Shift/Enter/Backspace but as soon as I unpause Track Ir it jumps back to its default position which is too far forward. In FSX I could just move the position with Track Ir active and it would stay there. How to I do this? Yes, I can move forward and hit the "Centre Track Ir" button but users of Track Ir will understand why this is not a practical solution. I need to be able to move the eyepoint and lock it. December 12, 20214 yr What I do is edit aircraft.cfg and change the value of [Views] eyepoint = I only need to do this on PMDG NGXu and FSL320s, so not much for me. On old FS9 days, the CtrlShiftEnterBackspace works even with TIR, not since simconnect involved from FSX. Some view add-ons might have such function, but with I can see they create more problem than solved (not tried all of them though, x-camera in X-P works much better than default then)

This seems like a dreadful ball-ache. 5800X3D - Strix X570-E - 32GB 3600Mhz DDR4 - AMD RX 9070 XT- Samsung 980 Pro x2

Well, that's numbers are in feet, or 32.8cm if you use metric like me, and you should have some good estimate of how much the view points need to be change just around your head, so it's not that hard.... Still it takes quite some trial and error, and you'd better write down your number somewhere in case they just updated the file....

(yea, I know, "spare cash") Yes, thank you, I'm aware of that but no, I don't have any spare cash at the moment. Much to my annoyance. 5800X3D - Strix X570-E - 32GB 3600Mhz DDR4 - AMD RX 9070 XT- Samsung 980 Pro x2
