How to start MSFS in less than a minute

Featured Replies

I have a 10 day old brand new rig (i7-1200k, 3700TI, 16Gb) with no addons installed into MSFS except AIG AI

Normal startup 7:30

With Data off  2:00

Is this issue basically waiting now for SU8 ?

7:30 ? Are you serious? 🙂

How fast is your internet connection?

Okay, here is my result: Loading time (normal) with all data on: 3 min 56 sec

With data all off: 2 min 50sec. So 1 minute gain in loading time.

FYI: my internet connection is 1 GB/s (Glasfiber connection)

Total addon files: 830.

So yes Asobo could program this automatically to reduce startup loading times. When menu appears data on. When shutdown (Quit to desktop) disable data (off)
