Bijan mod: leafless trees?

Featured Replies

Any of you know where I might find leafless trees, using Bijan's season mod and "Winter N Summer S"?

I tried around LOWI, and all I had were snowy conifers.  I then flew north/Ne into Germany and eventually the snow ended and it turned to summer (i.e. green and leafy trees).

Perhaps I am looking in the wrong places?

LOWI has about 30,000 leafless winter trees.

Nelson, New Zealand has about a 1000.

These cities (by the airports) have few hundred leafless trees:

  • Shoreham UK
  • Heathrow UK
  • Frankfurt, Germany
  • Glasgow  UK
  • Manchester, UK
  • Exeter, UK
  • Bristol, UK

New York central park have few hundred.

Other 3d trees can be found using POI in the sim. There are about 250,000 3d trees used.

Stockholm is which next update will have 30,000 leafless trees.

Nelson, fall season, which can be used for winter trees too.

Few other places that came to my mind: Giant trees in sequoia National Park, California. Tall trees in Norway. Blood dragon trees in Yemen.

These trees won't lose leaves in winter:

Bijan - I havent actually purchased your product (or pretty much anything but airports really) but you have some lovely long leaf pines there!  We have a lot of those around here...even if many of them got knocked down by a hurricane not long ago.  Its good to see them standing tall in your pics.

I found them.  I was not paying very close attention I think.  It's a very neat effect, with the white and leafless trees there.

Bijang Seasons pack really transforms the scenery into a very realistic way.

I also like the blossom / flowers that show during spring and summer.

Thank you. Which part of the world do you live in ? I am expanding these trees to more areas and like to know more areas to cover.

currently in Alabama not far from the US Gulf coast.  Those long leaf pines exist in much of the southeast U.S.   I used to think of them as trees you only saw at the beach but really they exist far inland like at campgrounds in Mississippi (northern - Lake Sardis)

On a totally different note -- do you have any trees with Spanish moss hanging from them?  Thats a common site along the Gulf coast as well.

Hi Bijan. Really enjoying your product!

Silly request if you have time in the future. I live in eastern Colorado and for whatever reason, Bing maps takes low sagebrush bushes and grasses and turns them into small trees in the sim. This part of the U.S. does not have many trees except for farm houses and near streams and rivers where water is present (not many of those). It would be great to have these show as grass and small bushes instead of trees. Much of the great plains of the U.S. is portrayed this way I think. Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback. I will double check the area.

Thanks for the info.

No trees with moss hanging but I will be doing similar trees for Florida everglades and similar areas, which include those type of trees and plants over waters and swamps and dead trees..
