Redwing Connie new update

Featured Replies

Redwings Connie has been updated and is available at Simarket, it now has a fully functioning flight engineer, on the first flight the FE seems to work well.

Asus Maximus Hero X11, Intel i9 10850k, 32gb Corsair Dominator ram, 2tb Corsair mp510 ssd  m2, Gigybyte turbo RTX 3090

Thanks. Got it DL'd.

But this reminds me why I don't like buying outside the marketplace. Simarket did not email me about the update. Marketplace updates may come later, but you won't ever miss out on one by not knowing it exists.

They do. if you select this option in their shop. I receive each update notice for any of my products. You can also do that on their (free) app by selecting "App settings" > "your products update".

The last update I received from Simmarket by email was in Sept. 2020 for an FSX product. They have not emailed me since about any update from my 4 later purchases on Simmarket. If there is an "option in their shop" to select about updates, then I can't find it.

I prefer to purchase MSFS marketplace when possible to keep my updates easier, in better order, and my community folder smaller.

Because in between there were the new Internet regulations whereby they could not keep personal information on file. You simply need to renew the request now and it will work.

well I had trouble finding it as well - but I found it in the "Newsletter Settings" one option is to recieve the newsletter & the other is to be informed about your product updates -

Product Updates   Receive notifications when your purchased products are updated.

- just did it so I'll wait & see if it works

hope this is of some use to you

Thank you Rattso, I have never been able to find it. There is nothing about it's location in the FAQs.

Thank you for telling me it is well hidden in the "Newsletter Archives."

It was lost but now is found, rejoice this Christmas day. -Luke 15:32

I have downloaded the new version 1.5 which I see in the notes has the AFE. I don't see any instructions as to how to engage and use the AFE. Does anyone have some insight into this?

You go to the clipboard click on the FE and then click on the list starting at the top
