Should have this one wrapped up by tomorrow. Really like this paint scheme!

Researching this one, it turns out this aircraft primarily flies the PHNL - KLAX route (6 times per week) with an occasional excursion up to KSEA.

Although I'm not a fan of the winglets on the 67, I couldn't resist giving this one a try.

Great paint and cool livery!

Yeah I didn't like the winglets on the 767 at 1st, but grew to find them ok after a while...still prefer her without them though.

How are you making your paints available?  Through ACE?

Steve Dra

Good morning Steve!

Yeah, I really like this Aloha Air Cargo paint scheme! This is actually the first of a trio of CM registered freighters I'm planning...two are operated by ATI, not sure about the third one.

The other two are N395CM:

And the third one is N351CM:

This Aloha Air Cargo one was a little more "hair pulling" than I planned between the lettering on the engines and that tail section/aft fuselage custom paint scheme...it turned out OK. There weren't many photos available showing that area detail. I'm also playing around with the white "shade" on the fuselage...I think this one turned out well with a slight "bluish" tint. I'll have to go back and revise the fuselage "tint" on the Royal Air Maroc Cargo one I did a couple of weeks ago...surprisingly there were more downloads on that one than I expected. It was a little too white originally...looks kind of "washed out" in the sim. I'll be flying that RAM-Cargo one a little more...as I picked up the Prealsoft Casablanca Airport/City combo scenery on sale this weekend. 🙂

This is the revised (non-published) fuselage shade change for my Royal Air Maroc repaint:

So far, I'm posting every one of my repaints here in the Avsim library. I haven't posted anything over in ACE...although it would be much easier. I'm trying to make sure I'm not making redundant paints...checking the usual ACE, Avsim, Inibuilds, and the CS forum etc.

I'm thinking my next one will be the Leisure International Airways one...similar to what you did for the LDS model so many moons ago. I haven't done any European paints yet. (Yeah...I'm still going to throw in that "new" Air Canada Cargo repaint in the "toothpaste" livery..air frame C-FPCA!)

Still looking forward to your AAL release...the teaser shots you've shared look incredible...in another 40 years I may be painting at your level! Maybe... 😉

Regards, Rob

Awesome paint Rob !! .

Thanks John! Much appreciated! Both (Aloha Air Cargo and Royal Air Maroc V2) published this morning.

Coming along well, Rob, the Aloha Cargo livery does have attractive touches of Green...

Glad you picked up Casablanca for Royal Air Maroc...🙂...I've the FSDG one, on which I'd done a story a little while ago...if you wish to look back......

Both Leisure International and "Toothpaste" Canada...🙂...sound good...look forward to them...!

Thanks for the feedback!

The Aloha Air Cargo is certainly an attractive/colorful paint scheme.

With the repainting right now, I really haven't had a chance to really check out the new scenery. It'll happen...one of these days...I'm thinking a South America (maybe Brazil)/Azores/Casablanca trip for the PMDG DC-6...yeah, I've got that one ported to v5...waiting for the installer is like waiting for pigs to fly.

I do recall your Casablanca post...you always have very interesting/informative threads. I'm also a Bogart fan!

The Leisure International repaint should be done today...if I can ever decide on the actual shade I like for the stripes...that's the problem relying on old photos for repaints...they all look so different (likely due to many being transferred from original film to digital). I wasn't really planning on the Air Canada Cargo (and Steve D is trying to get me to break from my previous all-Canadian liveries!)...but it is a relatively easy repaint, a livery I like, a currently flying aircraft and with no custom paint work at the nose/tail...a repainter's nightmare! 🙂

I'm assuming that you've purchased the CS767-II? (I think it's a pretty small group of users!!!) Still enjoying making these repaints for her...and I do enjoy flying a "not so highly automated" 80's vintage aircraft. Hand flying the departure and arrival in the CS767-II is much more enjoyable (for me!) than the autothrottle/ILS to minimums of the PMDG T7. Personal preference.

Thanks again for your comments!

Ahhh....toothpaste....not just for oral hygiene anymore. 🙂
I've actually grown to like the livery after I painted it on AS' 330

But this is my favorite all-time AC livery (on the Queen by iFly)

I'm resisting the temptation to paint either for the CS 767....this is @rmeier' wheelhouse. 🙂   Go Canuks! 🙂   I'm too busy to do too many for the CS model....need a 37 hour day and be retired from my "real" job. 😞
@rmeier
there are no stripes on the toothpaste livery that cross over the nose/tail. 😉 Just sayin. Hehe.

I'm sure the 30 or so people that actually bought this aircraft would certainly appreciate your talents! 😄 It's been great practice for me!

BTW, Canucks are my hometown Hockey Team!!! 🙂 I really love both of those liveries that you've posted...my two favorites (favourites???) after the Trans-Canada Airlines livery...technically not Air Canada. (You'll notice I haven't done any Canadian Airlines repaints yet...the Goose one is tempting!)

I was just kidding you about making the Air Canada Cargo livery...actually it's next on my list having been requested over at CS (it is an "easy one" after all). Just finished up the Leisure International Airways livery...photos to follow...

I've a feeling you might be a bit more partial to Canadian liveries (including the "toothpaste" one, which I like, btw) ...🙂...than Steve D (or me) .... Of course, Steve has already demonstrated his affection for this color...as evidenced by the (nice) A330 repaint above...🙂....

No, Rob, I only have the (original) FSX/SE 767 from CS... the 767-II is for only P3D... if I'm not mistaken...I was active in their respective Forums for 737/757/767, when, many moons ago, they originally released these a/c...in steps...v0.1/v0.2...v1.0...etc. as I recall...Of course, empowered by my "nuovo" (purely) sim-based knowledge of flying a/c... I also recall making a bit of noise there along with others...🙂...suggesting how the a/c should behave...I can only chuckle to myself now....

Anyway, have fun with this 767-II and painting for it...it's a good SIM...of a remarkable plane...!
