January 2, 20224 yr It doesn't read encrypted airports according to their web page. No so good for MSFS store add on airports.

It has an audio voice in the cockpit that tells you "ON RUNWAY 33" or "ON TAXIWAY" or "APPROACHING RUNWAY 04". There are youtube vids that show it in action in the real world. Many aircraft now have this fitted. There was a really bad crash in Lexington, KY about 15 years ago that really crystallized support for this kind of thing, but it was bound to come about sooner or later with the technology we have today.
