March 21, 20224 yr I have finished watching all seven episodes of The Book of Boba Fett, and I am struggling to understand why they bothered. Boba Fett was supposed to be a bounty hunter villain (of sorts) in the original Star Wars movies, and yet the version of him in this series feels more like some friendly guy from next door who would mow the lawn and varnish the fence free of charge. In fact, I think that the producers didn't really know what to do either, because after the first four episodes, they decided to film another three episodes of The Mandalorian instead. This seems like a wasted opportunity to me. Bounty hunter are neither good guys or bad guys. His profession may have been morally questionable but that doesn't mean he was incapable of making a different career choice. Good people can find themselves in morally questionable circumstances from time to time, especially when the backdrop is an evil empire. And you happen to be a clone that's expected to have that occupation. 😀 1 hour ago, Christopher Low said: after the first four episodes, they decided to film another three episodes of The Mandalorian instead. It was the plant to include Mando from the beginning. All episodes were already done and dusted. Forget what you wanted Fett to be or what went before, enjoy it as a standalone series. That's my attitude. But yes, I'm a big Mando fan and was thoroughly pleased when he arrived and converted the series into something worth watching. Edited March 21, 20224 yr by martin-w
March 21, 20224 yr Author Now watch Ridley Scott's Raised by Wolves and tell me what you think of that. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raised_by_Wolves_(American_TV_series)

"We’re meant to assume his near death experience in the sarlaac pit and then becoming a close part of that sand people community softened him, as he had a sense of family and community for the first time in his life" Re Wolves, I loved it, so original. Don't be put off by the first few episodes were the lady android behaves a bit weird, no spoilers but it kind of makes sense. The backdrop is a war between two factions on Earth, one atheist one religious. The planet is in severe jeopardy so the winning faction decides to evacuate. One lone scientist decides to recode an android necromancer weapon to be a care giver, the perfect mother, and he tasks her to take human embryos to a new planet. A male android goes with her and they become mother and father to the children. Things don't go according to plan though, illness, all but one of the children dying and the opposing faction turn up in their "arc". And of course, all isn't what it seems on the planet. Maybe I just need to chill, and enjoy it for what it is? Whatever the case, I will be watching Season 2 when it arrives.
