AIG Traffic - No sound

Featured Replies

I use the fantastic AIG tools (AIM & AIG TC) to inject AI traffic into the sim.  But unfortunately I don't get any sounds (engine noise, etc) coming from the AIG injected traffic.  Has anyone else experienced this issue or know of a fix?  When enabled, I do hear traffic injected by MSFS and multiplayer traffic.  I assume there is an issue with my AIG install, but the /SOUNDS directory is populated with .wav files for various AIG aircraft and doing a verify setup in AIM comes up clean.

I have sounds if I am outside of cockpit, but not if I'm in the plane. Is this normal?

Kai is working on that.

No sound inside the cockpit is an MSFS issue, ASOBO is working on it.

I have sound in both cockpit and outside, but I use Simple Traffic with AIG traffic fix.

No sound in or out of the aircraft for me either, at the moment. Looking forward to a fix!

BTW - when parked near the hold point (when testing), I couldn't help admiring those aircraft models - they're amazing. Well done, all!

I was wondering if this problem has been resolved. I personally use RealTraffic and PSXT to get more realistic aircraft activities in my airports together with aircrafts generated with AIG traffic manager. Everything was working quite well until I installed FSLTL a few weeks ago from FBW installer and ran it together with the AIG generated traffic. At that point, I noticed that AIG aircrafts have lost engine sounds. I since have deleted everything (AIG, FSLTL, MSFS2020), including resetting my windows 11 to earlier date and reinstalled all without much improvement. I am hopeful that someone who may have resolved similar problem in past would be able to assist. Thanks in advance!
