I find myself using far fewer payware add-ons (except for airplanes) than in P3D. Default scenery is actually very good, especially at high altitudes, free orthoimagery is available as well. There are many freeware airports of high quality available, MisterX is one that comes to mind first and his payware counterpart SFD.

Default airports are more than sufficient for me personally but can be improved even further with MisterX's freeware add-on Airport Environment HD.

Mmm I just recently got P3D v5 (used to use FSX) so I could fly some of my old payware and the default airports are absolutely disgusting for the most part, which is so disappointing. The default airports in X-plane 11 are almost always good enough.

Is the Rotate MD80 currently worth picking up for $45 in the XP org date ?

The MD80 is a good buy for that price and I get good frames with it. Makes a change from all the automation in Airbus's and 737. Also word not allowed'en Betty is a plus 🙂
