Hi All,

I have tweaked the Pilot view for the modified Longitude to a point that is not so zoomed in, now I would like to tilt the view down just a little but I am not sure which line to modify. Here is my current cameras.cfg:

Can anyone point me in the direction of what to change to tilt the view down?

Suggestion for you. Why not visually setup the camera view(s) from the cockpit. There are a multitude of videos on Youtube explaining how this is done. It's a lot easier than plugging numbers into a CFG file, loading the sim and seeing how it turned out.

I have done this for all my other views and it works perfectly. When I modify the default pilot view and then save it to a specific key when I press the corresponding key it never seems to go to the actual position I set hence the reason for the question

Have a look at the videos. Your problem has probably been solved already.

hey guys, sorry to ask this, but after each update my custom views seem to be obliterated... can we save the modded CFG file and replace the updated one whenever that happens?

This happened to me at the last update.  It obliterated my WpSystem folder for some reason so I lost my modded user config file and all of my custom cameras.
You could try backing up this folder.  I certainly intend to before the next update.
