January 23, 20224 yr Hi All, I have tweaked the Pilot view for the modified Longitude to a point that is not so zoomed in, now I would like to tilt the view down just a little but I am not sure which line to modify. Here is my current cameras.cfg: [VERSION] major =1 minor =0 [VIEWS] eyepoint = -16.385, -1.3, 3.15 ; (feet) longitudinal, lateral, vertical distance from reference datum ;===================== CAMERADEFINITION ===================== [CAMERADEFINITION.0] Title ="Pilot" Guid ="{8FF6C134-098D-409F-BAEC-CABA3F683F98}" Description ="" Origin ="Virtual Cockpit" MomentumEffect =1 SnapPbhAdjust ="Swivel" SnapPbhReturn =0 PanPbhAdjust ="Swivel" PanPbhReturn =0 Track ="None" ShowAxis ="YES" AllowZoom =1 InitialZoom =0.81 SmoothZoomTime =2 ZoomPanScalar =1 ShowWeather =1 XyzAdjust =1 ShowLensFlare =0 Category ="Cockpit" SubCategory ="Pilot" SubCategoryItem ="DefaultPilot" PitchPanRate =20 HeadingPanRate =60 InitialXyz = 0, 0.569999, 10.849998 InitialPbh = 1, 0, 0 NodesToHide ="" ClipMode ="Normal" BoundingBoxRadius =0.1 UITitle="TT:GAME.PANEL_CAMERA_PILOT_VFR" TargetCategory="None" CycleHidden=0 CycleHideRadius=0 ShowPanel=0 InstancedBased=0 NoSortTitle=0 Transition=0 PanAcceleratorTime=5 XYZRate=0.25 XYZAcceleratorTime=0 Can anyone point me in the direction of what to change to tilt the view down? January 23, 20224 yr Suggestion for you. Why not visually setup the camera view(s) from the cockpit. There are a multitude of videos on Youtube explaining how this is done. It's a lot easier than plugging numbers into a CFG file, loading the sim and seeing how it turned out. -J 13700KF | RTX 4090 @ 1440 | 64GB DDR5 | 2 x 1TB SSDs | 1TB M.2 NVMe

I have done this for all my other views and it works perfectly. When I modify the default pilot view and then save it to a specific key when I press the corresponding key it never seems to go to the actual position I set hence the reason for the question Richard i7-12700K | Noctua NH-D15S Black Version | MSI Pro Z690 - A | 32 GB DDR4 3600 | Gigabyte Gaming OC 4090 | 1TB WD Blue NMVe (MSFS 2020) | 500 GB WD Black Gen 4 NVMe | 4TB WD Black Conventional | Fractal Design Torrent Case | Seasonic 1000W Gold Plus PSU | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Honeycomb Throttle | Airbus Side Stick | Virpil Rudder Pedals | Sony X90K 55 Inch TV |

January 24, 20224 yr hey guys, sorry to ask this, but after each update my custom views seem to be obliterated... can we save the modded CFG file and replace the updated one whenever that happens? i9 13900KF @ 5.5Ghz | MoBo MSI PRO Z690-A WiFi | Corsair Vengeance Black RGB RS 64gb DDR4 3200MHz | MSI GeForce RTX 5090 Vanguard SOC 32GB | MP33 Pro 1TB M.2-2280 NVME SSD for OS | Samsung 870 QVO 2.5" 4TB SSD SATA2 | Samsung 990 PRO 2TB | Corsair RM1000X 2021 1300W 80 Plus Gold PSU | Antec Dark Fleet DF700 Flux Gaming Case | Win 11 home | Samsung 65" 4K TV | G512 Keyboard | Razer Basilisk V2 Mouse | WinCtrl URSA MINOR 32 Throttle Metal / 32 PAC Metal | WinCtrl Ursa Minor Sidestick |Velocity One Rudder | MiniCockpit FCU and EFIS | WinCtrl MCDU | Stream Deck XL | Tobii Eye Tracker | Pimax Crystal Light | Doug

This happened to me at the last update. It obliterated my WpSystem folder for some reason so I lost my modded user config file and all of my custom cameras. You could try backing up this folder. I certainly intend to before the next update. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).
