May 16, 200719 yr From Pete's forum, updated today:Changes since 4.09 are: "1. This version is compatible with both the original FSX release and the update (SP1) made available in May 2007. If you install SP1 you need to be using FSUIPC 4.10 at minimum, or many things will not work correctly."There are a total of 17 fixes and updates to this version of FSUIPC.Complete information:http://forums.simflight.com/viewtopic.php?...c61f7b5ccd64953v4.10 beta Download Link:http://fsuipc.simflight.com/beta/Install_FSUIPC4_410.zip Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
May 16, 200719 yr All well and good but that download link does not work, nor does it on the simflight forum.
May 16, 200719 yr Must be on your end or your ISP. Just downloaded 4.10 from this link a few moments ago (using Comcast broadband). Or, it could be that Pete is updating the front/download page and his site is going up and down. Wait a few minutes and try again... Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE

May 16, 200719 yr I thought I just read somewhere that the CH yoke, rudder peddles etc. will not work after SP1 unless/until FSUIPC is updgraded. My question is, should I upgrade before or after I install SP1? Does it matter? I am hoping that if I update FSUIPC it before SP1 I won't have to reconfigure my CH add-ons.I HATE having to reconfigure my CH controls.Joe
May 16, 200719 yr Some add-ons specifically use FSUIPC to interface to FS. Other folks use it to refine FS to their particular liking. After you install SP1 into FSX, you need to upgrade to FSUPIC4 v4.10 before procedding, as any previous version of FSUIPC, v4.09 and earlier, is not compatible with SP1.If you are new to FS and haven't installed FSUIPC in the past, then you don't need to worry about this at the moment. To check if you currently have FSUIPC and need the newest version, look int FSXmoduels for FSUIPC.dll. Right click on the file and look at the version (or details) tab. Anything earlier than 4.1.0.0 is incompatible with FSX-SP1. Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
