Yep, 1955, when I was 6 years old.  We went to the drive in I showed in the picture to see "Strategic Air Command".  My father was in the Army Air Corps.in WWII  and wanted to see it.

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

I never thought about it that way Noel. I haven't been to a drive-in movies since my high school days. And I don't remember ever waching a movie back then. I was too busy studying human anatomy.
