it takes some time...

It is my observation that in SU8 it takes MSFS at least 5 minutes to settle on the weather. The clouds may give you the impression the real time weather is injected, but the air pressure takes a lot longer. When pressing 'b' to update the pressure it takes 5 minutes or longer in my case. Not sure about the winds, but I suspect the reading for the correct wind also takes that time. Which, when using ai traffic, means that the initially spawn ai traffic will taxi to the wrong runways. The same goes for arriving traffic.

This is when using the FBW A320.

So my advice is to set up all for departure first and then inject ai traffic only after you have ascertained that the local air pressure is set to the actual.

Are others seeing the same behaviour?

I always start a flight, check everything in the aircraft, and then call for taxi clearance and by that time everything is stabilized.

Me too, but sometimes it takes AI a few minutes to get going.
