FSX-Steam Cert Error

Featured Replies

Any ideas on how to fix the pesky cert error when loading FSX-Steam?  Cert expired in December 2021.  I tried loading newer version but it didn't take.  I notice lots of chatter on the Steam site but no one seems to have an answer.

Thanks,

Jim Driskell

I just check "YES"  to "Do you want to proceed" and FSX loads every time...

It does not look like Steam and MS are going to resolve the expired certificate issue.  Just click "yes" and everything will load correctly.

Yes, I do that but it occurs to me that they don’t want to fix the problem in order to nudge users towards MSFS which is word not allowed on my old machine.  My old adage is, “Software sells hardware.”
