Magnetic levitation for trains, MRI scanners, particle colliders, fast electronic switches etc. Tests are currently under way for the use of superconductivity in wind turbines. Trouble is, the low temps required. The holy grail is a room temperature superconductor, that would be an incredible breakthrough. We are edging closer, with higher temperature superconductors available but nowhere near room temp yet. Apart from one material that is superconducting at room temp but it requires very extreme pressure so not really practical.
