Like many I was getting stutters at low altitude or on the ground but as of right now they seem to have largely gone. Either there was some hidden tweak in the World Update or updating my NVidia drivers earlier has actually made a difference. It's still not perfect but, it is definitely better. Yes. I have been going bonkers trying to figure out why I've been seeing massive stutters when everyone else is saying how smooth and stutter free MSFS is for them. I've done some "extreme" troubleshooting using debuggers, process monitors, and other monitoring tools and really haven't been able to identify if the problem is in the CPU or GPU side of the house. I kicked off the update last night and when it completed I started up MSFS to explicitly check on the stutters. To my surprise, they seem to be gone. I haven't done a real flight yet, but for me the problem was the most noticeable in drone mode so that's how I tested it. In the past, just sitting in one place a couple hundred feet above the airport and rotating the drone caused massive stutters. Now, I can "sit and spin" without having it hesitate every 15-20 degrees of motion. I'm running a 10850K and a 2080 Ti... March 25, 20224 yr It's definitely better, if not quite eliminated for me. Something has been changed somewhere. This is not the mesh related stutter btw which I understand is still an issue for some but the general mystery post SU8 stutter some of us were suffering from.
March 25, 20224 yr I've seen an improvement too. Using the latest FBW experimental and latest 512.15 Nvidia drivers. There are some stutters but so much better than before. March 25, 20224 yr Are the improvements with stutters just apparent when flying in Iberia or are the improvements global? MSFS 2020 i7-4790k @ 4.4ghz for the moment. Asus z87-k mobo. GTX 1080, 32gb ram. couple of SSDs....Saitek X52

Not a phase change perhaps but noticeable? It is really smooth now with a great overcast layer in N. Spain; en-route BCN to LA Coruna in the CJ4. 45FPS on the ground with AIG at BCN and 58FPS in the air with good ol' GTX1080 Ti. All mods seem to work so far including AIG and no stutters so far. Did you fully uninstall your Nvidia driver before updating? I’m still on a old driver (not at my desk right now but I think It’s something like 4.xx lol) might be time to try a newer driver for my 1080TI Richard i7-12700K | Noctua NH-D15S Black Version | MSI Pro Z690 - A | 32 GB DDR4 3600 | Gigabyte Gaming OC 4090 | 1TB WD Blue NMVe (MSFS 2020) | 500 GB WD Black Gen 4 NVMe | 4TB WD Black Conventional | Fractal Design Torrent Case | Seasonic 1000W Gold Plus PSU | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Honeycomb Throttle | Airbus Side Stick | Virpil Rudder Pedals | Sony X90K 55 Inch TV |

Under the list of choices is a tick box labelled 'perform clean install', just tick that. I've never had an issue doing a driver update this way. Last night I did completely remove my old driver and install the latest Nvidia 512.15 but I am still finding the sim just is no where near as fluid as it was in SU7. Whatever Asobo did behind the scenes maybe they will undo it for he next sim update lol Richard i7-12700K | Noctua NH-D15S Black Version | MSI Pro Z690 - A | 32 GB DDR4 3600 | Gigabyte Gaming OC 4090 | 1TB WD Blue NMVe (MSFS 2020) | 500 GB WD Black Gen 4 NVMe | 4TB WD Black Conventional | Fractal Design Torrent Case | Seasonic 1000W Gold Plus PSU | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Honeycomb Throttle | Airbus Side Stick | Virpil Rudder Pedals | Sony X90K 55 Inch TV |
March 26, 20224 yr Just flown around the Phoenix area where I would normally get quite noticeable stutters while panning around the cockpit. It is markedly better, I'm really pleased.
