For example, if you pause a flight with a good nearby view of the mountains and take screenshots with max and min tessellation you can compare them and you should see more jaggedness to mountains. Thanks Steve, any insight into performance impact? Is that hitting GPU or CPU? So it's not changing the Mesh resolution just adding more fidelity? GPU mainly, you might see up to 10% more GPU from Low to Ultra, depends on other terrain factors. No major impact on framerate on recent GPUs. Yes just adds fidelity.
