How are you all GPU limited and not CPU limited in this sim?

 

I can get by fine with my 2080 super at 2k with my current settings and the sim looks great but my main thread is still getting hammered!

Increase your render scale. Decrease your terrain LOD. Until you become gpu limited

DLSS is by definition lowering the details, so I am not sure how that thumbnail image is correct.

If you run 4K with a render scale of 80% and in addition run DLSS you are running <2K resolution I guess. Then of course DLSS does its stuff and automagically fills in the missing pixels to create a 4K image, but that will never be as good/crisp as the original.
