No AIG AI flights in MSFS

Featured Replies

I have tried for days to get AIG traffic working in MSFS without success.

I have my AIG Traffic Manage in the F Drive fully loaded and set up to connect to my main sim C Drive Community Folder where I have two folders (aig-aitraffic-oci-beta and aig-aitraffic-oci-beta-CVL, not sure what the CVL does).

Basically the only time I can get any traffic showing at all is when I have the MSFS slider for Ground Traffic Density on at around 50%. No matter what I put in the AI Traffic slider no flights ever appear.

Obviously I must be doing something wrong but I can't figure what.

I have AIG working perfectly in P3D.

I have tried the AIG Forum but nothing seems to come back.

Any help gratefully received!

Just having the folders in your Community folder is not enough.

You also have to run the AIG Traffic Controller.

I assume you're doing that but you never know.

You said you are running AIG Traffic Manager, but that's not the same program as the AIG Traffic Controller.

Yes, you need to download the AIGTC and start it up once MSFS has loaded. Make sure the correct path to the community folder is set within AIGTC, then after the flight has loaded click "inject traffic".

The AIGTC is necessary because default MSFS offline traffic injection will give you random liveries all over the place. Only by external injection the traffic will have the correct models, liveries, flight plan, routes etc.

I have been doing all those things except "inject traffic" manually. I will give it a go.

Thanks guys for all the help!

Ah well if you have "auto-inject" ticked, you don't need to do that, BUT you have to make sure you only start up the AIGTC after MSFS has loaded or (better if you use "auto-inject") after the flight has loaded.

AIG Traffic Manager says its connected but where is the button that says "inject"?

When it starts to inject make sure that it is reading the flight plans. When you start the program it will indicate startup at the bottom of the UI. Then it will load airports. The last step is loading AIGFP Data. If it doesn't load the flight plans you won't see any traffic. In your TC settings make sure you have it pointed to where you have your AIG aircraft/ flightplans installed. Like this :    I:\MSFS\Community\aig-aitraffic-oci-beta.

Yes it wasn't locked in to ALL the directories. Thank you very much!

I now have aircraft (Easyjet at least) in Gatwick that seem to be moving and flying off somewhere.

One question I have read different advice on this, do I set AI Offline and slider to 50% or 0%?

Within MSFS you set AI traffic to "off" and "ground aircraft density" to "0%". All aircraft will be created by the AIGTC according to real life flightplans. (This does, of course, include only those airlines that you previously downloaded in the AIG Manager.)
