April 19, 20224 yr Hi. I have the msfs installed ( I think so...) In two differents pc's (houses). Months ago I was be able to run msfs in my second location but only once. I try several times to do It but It is impossible. The last error show me is 0×8007001f. When I try to run It show me the following dialog: can not open this application. storage device may be missing or disconnected. I am going to try to upload a image. What is the wrigt way to run msfs in differents locations. Thanks.
April 19, 20224 yr Here I have 2 pc’s with each their own copy of MSFS and different XBox Live / Ms Account. Two pc’s and using the same XBox Live s Ms Account is new to me. You best sent a Zendesk ticket and ask if/how it can be done. April 19, 20224 yr You can install and use MSFS on several computers without issue but you will probably cannot fly on more than one at the same time. April 19, 20224 yr I have two locations also. Being a long-time steam user, I chose that platform when I purchased FS2020. Moving between locations works quite well with minimal issues. One MS id and one steam ID that only is operational on one machine at a time. The hardware is different at each location and my addons vary also. Takes me a while to remember the differences when going to the other after four months away. I do have MSFS2020 on the same custom drive and directory at the two locations.

May 5, 20224 yr Interesting question. I mainly run MSFS (bought through steam) on my laptop but also have it installed on the PC at the front of the house. Different joysticks as well but so long as I do not try running it on both at the same time it works fine. I have also wondered about getting it on my Android tablet through game pass but wonder how it would cope on a cruise ship out in the middle of nowhere.
