April 23, 20224 yr I know it is a known P3D issue... Maybe someone found a solution for it. Loading some sceneries all look ok, after a few hours flight arriving those sceneries I can see floating houses... For example Aerosoft Maderia , loaded all ok , flew there after 3 hours flight and houses floating around the airport... Thx.
April 23, 20224 yr I think it only happens for homeowners that have balloon mortgages for their homes. 😄 Seriously, I've seen that too. Some believe this happens when the autogen buildings get loaded into memory before the mesh has finished loading, and that this happens because P3D is multithreaded. Apparently reloading the scenery fixes the anomaly. dv Win 10 Pro || i7-8700K || 32GB || ASUS Z370-P MB || NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11Gb || 2 960 PRO 1TB, 840 EVO My Files in the AVSIM Library

But do you ever see floating trees... they always appear to be rooted firmly to the ground 😉 Sometimes turning the Panel view off and on a few times forces the buildings back down onto their foundations. Unfortunartely it's just one of many things LM have paid little heed to over the years, I haphazard their lack of action in the GFX looks department is coming back to bite (what with MSFS's release). That said nothing like a little competition to light a fire under the incumbent. April 23, 20224 yr I just saw this youtube video. As he makes the turn back towards the airport you can clearly see the floating buildings on the right hand side. I have experienced this myself also. I wonder what causes this, and whether anything can be done.
April 25, 20224 yr I have noticed this too if you get in a hurry and don't restart the computer between installing a bunch of scenery. Sometimes uninstalling and reinstalling can fix it. Generally if I perform restarts and load the sim between scenery installs during a fresh build then I'm good to go.
