April 24, 20224 yr Hi, I am looking for a monitor only for MSFS, I use a i9-10850k and RTX 3090. Does a monitor for MSFS need to be expensive? I could think of a 4K Monitor. However, I don't know if my GPU can handle the temperatures. Size-wise it could be 27" or 32". What is recommandable?
April 24, 20224 yr if you are using a 3090 it would be a massive waste not to run in 4k. I would go with 32" if 27 is the other option. maybe you can head to a store and see what size works for you in front of your eyes. I went with a 43" 4k tv that has a fast response time. Not as fast as a monitor however. Sometimes I wish I went with a gsync ultimate 4k screen. April 24, 20224 yr Author Sure, but I am not sure if it could handle the temperatures! I use a old 1080p monitor and my temps are almost at the limit. What will happen when I put a 4K monitor on the line?
May 5, 20224 yr I would run Developer Mode, Options, Display FPS and post an image here of the GPS display flying over New York City or other dense scenery.
