Not In Database FMC Messge

Featured Replies

Hi all, since the last mandatory update of last night 26/04/20 I have not been able to input any airports reference into any FMC, just getting Not In Database message, Navdata is from Navigraph and installed via Navdata Centre, I have today spent most of the day trying to cure this issue, I have deleted my FlightSim.cfg, Content.xml and my Scenery Indexes in order to get a clean sim, but alas its not worked, anyone got any ideas?.

Yes,

Start Navigraph Navdata Center and leave it running before starting MSFS. Start MSFS and load a flight and your problems should be solved.

The issue is that the Navigraph data entries get moved out of order in Content.xml. Running Navdata Center before starting MSFS forcefully updates Content.xml to correct this problem.

Thanks for that but alas that didnt work

Open your Content.xml and see if it looks like this:

This is the top of the file - note the position of the Navigraph entry.

This is the end of the file - Navigraph entry must be last.

Hiya. Your navigraph is on line 6, mine is on line 7, my line 6 is fs-base-nav and line 5 is fs-base-ai-traffic.

The last line is correct

If you uninstall Navigraph does it fix your problem?

I have tried Salty 747, 787, airbus 330, all the same

Are you able to select airports for departure or destination in an aircraft with the G1000, G3000, GNS530 etc?

Have you tried clearing community folder...might be a conflicting addon.

"Salty" That's the problem. I had the same problem with the addons (Salty 747 & Heavy Mod 787) the default is fine. Salty already came out with a fix V0.5.1 (I think) that you can download from their server. It's in the "Stable" version. I already downloaded it and now the FMS is working fine again.

Not sure if the Heavy Mod has come out with something for the 787, I need to check.

Cheers.

Many thanks to everyone for your valuable inputs, much appreciated, I tested on three default aircraft, 747, A320 and the Cessna Citation,on all three I was able to input airport data, after downloading the Salty update that too is now ok, the only exception is the 787 Mod, still have the same issue.

Just to update from last, 787 Mod now ok, using the Dev version.
