Pink Planes after installing AIG

Featured Replies

Good day all.  After a couple hours of installing AIG and downloading a few major liveries I am having Pink Planes show up which I assume is a texture issue.  Anyone else run across this? And ideas on how to fix?

Some liveries are probably not compatible with the latest update.

Try running the AIG Manager (not Traffic Controller) and then selecting a tab with OCI or similar. There is a button to verify files. Select that. It will then start a process to check for missing or updated liveries and install them.

For what it’s worth, not seeing this problem in SU9 and I don’t think anyone else is reporting this either, so I don’t think it is a SU 9 issue specifically, just missing liveries in your installation. Running the Verify should sort it.

Thanks for the feedback I will try to run the verify again and see if that fixes it.

Texture formats haven't changed. FSX liveries will work in MSFS if you know how to add them. It's an install issue that OCI verify will fix.

ran the verify tool again and it seemed to correct the issue.  Thank you all for the help!

FYI, I have occasional pink aircraft on the apron without AIG being installed...ever.

Hello Dave, do you know how to install them? I'm trying to add the Aerolineas Argentinas AIA 737 MAX 8 ones that came (AIG OCI Install) empty, just the texture.cfg file is present. The livery file exists and are this ones: https://www.juergenbaumbusch.de/?p=13023

I tried but I don't know how to create the .json files which I think is the problem, since I can't see the AI when adding only the AIA_737_800_MAX_L.PNG.DDS, AIA_737_800_MAX_T.PNG.DDS and AIA_737_MAX_T.PNG.DDS.

Thanks in advance
