May 17, 20224 yr I am a bit disappointed that the B737 didn't come with some comprehensive documentation. I note Fenix is delivering a 1000 page Aircraft Operations Manual. The raft of B737 videos showing you tubers flicking switches (some are probably ex P3D and very familiar with the plane) is not doing it for me even though some of those guys are real drivers. For example despite following the MSFS checklists I keep getting a master caution AIR CON light. Clearly something I haven't configured correctly but I am unable to understand the details of this particular system to fault find it. I actually have Loadmaster hours on the B727 so I am familiar with the packs on that aircraft and which one fed which hold for example. Along with many systems, we were required to have detailed knowledge of the systems as our 'Airplane General' but not to the same level as the Flight Engineer of course but enough we could speak with some understanding when resolving issues. Boeing is Boeing and except for the glass, navigation, and the number of engines there doesn't seem a lot of difference between the airframes and the systems present although undoubtedly there are significant improvements in those systems. If I wanted to drill down into the aircon, pressurization, electrical, hydraulic and fuel systems for the B737-700 where would I find that information? Is it even publicly available? Is there a publicly downloadable Aircraft Operations Manual? What does ATT on the IRS stand for and why isn't that mentioned in the checklist while trying to understand why speed trim lights won't extinguish on pre-flight? Maybe there is a manual buried deep in the files somewhere that I am unaware of. I 'm sure it's just me behind the airplane at this point but I sure would appreciate any hints on where I might find a repository of B737 operating and systems documentation. May 17, 20224 yr I agree with Terry. I know PMDG is famous for its documentation. But where is it? Nothing I downloaded on release day contained any instructions at all. May 17, 20224 yr The old NGX used to come with complete Boeing documentation. Unfortunately, Boeing told PMDG they could no longer do that and it was removed for later versions. If you google for 737 FCOM you may manage to find it/them (vol 1 & vol 2)... G Edited May 17, 20224 yr by Gazzareth Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron

But the FCOM plus the tech site linked there will contain more info than you probably ever wanted about these planes ;). Andrew Crowley

First class answer 😁.I think even found what the problem might have been with MACH TRIM and AUTO SLAT lights illuminating while conducting the overhead panel pre-flight. It could be that I just screwed up or, maybe, just maybe this is an indication of the depth of PMDG's modelling? I also found out about IRS on ATT. Let's just say I wont do that again!! October 21, 20232 yr Has anyone found anything more updated? This is the most recent FCOM I've come across and it's from 2005. I can't imagine it's still 100% accurate for the flight displays, for example.
October 23, 20232 yr Commercial Member You can enter these word in google: FCOM pdf <any aircraft type you wish> and you will get plenty of documentation. If the addon is modeled reasonably close to reality, you won't need anything more.
