May 23, 20224 yr Good day/ evening everyone, very sorry to start yet another topic on the Fenix bird.. I can't seem to find a transition to select in the mcdu. Only did two flights so far, EDDL - EDDM and turn around. I can select STARS for both airports, but no transitions. What im I doing wrong? Navigraph nav data is up to date.. Thank you 🙂

May 23, 20224 yr It would help if you tell us wether this your first time getting to know Airbus logic, or if you actually know where to look and they simply just don't show up where they are supposed to. 😉
May 23, 20224 yr Author I used to find the tranisitions without problems in the FBW a320. On flight plan page I press LSK next to the arrival airport, e.g EDDL, then LSK for arrival. Next would be selecting the runway, for example 23L. Upon that, I can select a STAR, but no transitions, even when scrolling using the left right arrows..
May 23, 20224 yr Do the transitions show up when you don’t have a STAR selected? If so, this might be accurate to the real MCDU. I forget the logic behind it, but sometimes it won’t show you all the approach transitions depending on the STAR.

Could you post the route you want to fly here? I'll quickly hop into the sim and check it.
May 23, 20224 yr Author Thank you 🙂 GIVM6S GIVMI Y101 OSBIT/N0402F240 Z719 BIBTA N850 GISEM Z505 ARPEG Z850 ADEMI T854 DOMUX DOMU2G EDDL23L that's the route, but in the end, vatsim controller wants me to fly domux23 transition. I ended up entering it manually. The VIA line appears in the middle of Line 1, so no matter if I hit the right or left LSK, i cannot select a transition.
May 23, 20224 yr So I'll just put int EDDM and EDDL as Departure and destination, which is sufficient to give you the the arrival options. I select EDDL. I choose ILS 23L. Then on the next page next to 2nd LSK on the left it says: Aprr Vias. That's what you click. And that brings you to the transitions. And it works. DOM23 is there on the 2nd page of the Transitions.
