Fenix A320 Saved Flight

Featured Replies

This doesn't seem to work in the way I am used to in P3D ie saved situation, panel state, FMC state etc.  Is this the case or am I missing something?  What I do get is the aircraft at the saved situation but just with the default panel state and and a drastic drop in FPS.

There is no save/reload functionality (yet?) in the Fenix. I'd like to have that too, for autosave.
Only the 737 and the Maddog can save and reload flights sucessfully.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Wait, are you saying this actually works reliably in the PMDG and Maddog? Since essentially forever I've resigned myself to not being able to save flights in complex airliner addons and having to do every flight in one sitting. Certainly never worked for me with any of the airliners I've flown in FS9, FSX or XP (never made the leap to P3D).

If there's at least some addons that are able to do this now, that's a real game changer to me. It'd be great if the Fenix could do this too, of course, particularly since it doesn't support time acceleration (at least for now).

Yes, I have only tried it personally in the Maddog, but from what I heard it also works with the 737 thanks to their panel state saving

Thanks for the info! Out of the two, I only have the Maddog at the moment anyway, so good to hear it works there. Do you have to save the panel state separately, or does it get saved automatically when you save the flight?

I only have the 737. I've used the save / load on multiple occasions and it works well to restore an in-flight state. It uses the sim load / save menu function, you don't need to take any additional steps.

So far its enough to just save with MSFS default on my system
