Does it work in a browser on your flightsim PC?

The CDU doesn't work in either browser or a tablet but the Overhead works in both

Looking more closely I can see that some of the switches are not in the correct positions so the overheads is partially working. The displays for cabin pressure and Voltages are just showing ### as opposed to numbers. but some of the switches are working correctly

Sounding more like a license issue because what you describe indicates demo mode (I think). Launch aviaserver, then right click aviaserver icon in taskbar and hover on license status. When pop-out appears check the cdu license entry for the aircraft you are using - licensed products are listed "Licensed (FS2020)" and are light blue (cyan), non-licensed are listed "Demo Only" and are light purple/violet.

Okay, let's check your aviaserver version - select "About" version should 18.6.0.0.

OK so I now have it all working. Uninstalled FS2crew rechecked the lines in the 737.ini file and EnableCDUBroadcast=1 was missing. re-added it, re-installed FS2Crew and then ran MSFS2020 this time all working fine both the CDU and the overhead.

Thanks for taking the time to offer suggestions it got me looking into it a bit deeper rather than just giving up.

Regards

Brian

Brian,

Thank you for reporting back to give your findings. I'm not sure I understand what role FS2Crew has regarding avia CDU and Overhead, could you provide more details?

It also writes the following lines to the 737.ini
[SDK]
EnableDataBroadcast=1
EnableCDUBroadcast.0=1
EnableCDUBroadcast.1=1

So either the latest PMDG update overwrote my 737.ini removing those lines or the FS2CREW installation overwrote it.

All is good now though👍

I don't use FS2Crew but I've considered it so this is good to know.

Oh it works well and I can recommend it, I've used different versions for different aircraft for years on P3D.

For some reason this one or the PMDG update may have caused the problem but it's a quick fix once you know.
