June 8, 20223 yr Hi! How do I change from hdg mode to NAV-mode. Tried to pull/push the hdg-bug but in the PFD it says both hdg and NAV. hdg in green and NAV in blue.
June 8, 20223 yr NAV in blue means it's armed, and a bunch of conditions have to be met for NAV to engage. It would be immensely helpful if you could either describe your situation in more detail, or include a screenshot of the instruments as the problem occurs. I'm guessing you should guide the plane to intercept the path. The other option is to issue a direct to command to a suitable waypoint in your flight plan. That should take the plane straight to nav mode.
June 8, 20223 yr Jonas, the way to push and pull in this ac is a bit different from P3D. No right button for pulling. Just a suggestion. It took to me for a while to get to used to it. Best. Miquel.

As others said, there are certain conditions to be met if you are to intercept the FMC path. The first waypoint is probably in another direction . For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
June 8, 20223 yr What you could do is press the Direct button and select the first waypoint in your flight plan, then the aircraft will go into Nav mode and fly there.
