June 10, 20223 yr Hey All, Hoping somebody might be able to help me identify the cause of these distortions? I'm pretty sure its related to heat blur but for the life of me I can't get rid of it. I've got everything on ULTRA at the moment and have gone through every setting in MSFS and removed/unchecked each individually in an attempt to reduce or remove the distortions without success. No tweaks in NVIDIA Control Plan - frames and visuals are otherwise really good. Anybody seen this before? June 10, 20223 yr Have you changed graphic card drivers lately? Maybe try another driver. (I don't think that is heat blur). Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's
June 10, 20223 yr I have this problem too, but only with the Fenix. Looks like there are some problems between the model and the heat blur. Whats funny, when youre having the wingtips in front of the heat blur you can see them twice. I've been flying the Fenix so much lately that I didn't clock it was just happening with this aircraft alone. In my trouble shooting I removed the defauly heat blur effect. Its gone with all other aircraft but the Fenix clearly has its own heat blur because the effect remains in that aircraft only. Fenix don't have a support forum do they? I would try the "Contact Support" button on the top/right corner of the Fenix App. The alternative is probably their Discord channel, but it is a zoo out there. I rarely venture there ! I don't suffer from that heat blur glitch with my Fenix. Odd, I usually have a tendency to get them all - whatever is out 😕 Cheers, 2Low2Slow
