That's what I was trying to say, there is no navigation screen in the BAe 146! Some didn't have any FMS at all when they left the factory. If they did have an FMS, it was very basic as it was designed in the 1970s https://www.airliners.net/photo/Jersey-European-Airways/British-Aerospace-BAe-146-200/77293/L What you are asking for will be available in the Avro RJ, this is an updated 146 with an EFIS cockpit that includes an EHSI, FADEC, upgraded autopilot and more sophisticated FMS. The EADI and EHSI were often retrofitted to 146s. https://www.airliners.net/photo/Swiss-International-Air-Lines/British-Aerospace-Avro-146-RJ100/2817903/L I expect that Avro RJ will release before the F70/F100, since it is more similar to its base design. (I've at least understood Martyns post that the real 146 doesnt have it. I'm not owning a 146 typerating.) The only thing Justflight should consider doing is to place a giant warning on their product page that this addon is not suitable for the ordinary magenta-line-boys and gals but for pilots who want to do a little more than just pushing LNAV + VNAV + AP ON. Also, (not trying to steal some PMDG forum mod's words but) some people really should consider reading manuals first before blaming a dev to not have finished some features when in fact it's just not true. Oh, so you say that why in the Earth the non-real FMC of the 146 is not absolutely deleted because it is not the real one fitted in the 146, and the only thing Justflight should consider doing is not suitable for the ordinary magenta-line-boys and gals but for pilots who want to do a little more than just pushing LNAV + VNAV + AP ON. I respect your oppinion. "Ah, so in real live in the 146´s FMC there is not a screen to watch the FMC path?" I am querying, not affirming, note that, read it again. Edited June 29, 20223 yr by peloto

June 29, 20223 yr @ckyliu Is there any photo with an FMS fitted like the 727´s that have one FMS and they have a very basic screen with path very old green fashioned and small, I remember one video with one.
June 29, 20223 yr That's what they had from the factory generally, green screen, but no path line. BAe 146/Avro RJ typically came equipped with 3 different types of FMS: Global (later Allied Signal) GNS 500A (earlier 146) I think this utilised LORAN VLF as well as DME! Honeywell GNS-XLS (some early Avro RJ, Jetstream 41, later 146) Collins GNLU-910 (most Avro RJ, retrofitted to some 146) No idea what any of the Fokkers used, not my area of expertise, probably Honeywell on the F70/F100? Given their age, I doubt the F28 had any FMS when new. Edited June 29, 20223 yr by ckyliu ckyliu, proud supporter of ViaIntercity.com. i5 12400F, 32GB, RTX4070, more in "About me" on my profile.
