Looks like a very powerful system!  It'll be great - remember to take your time - read over the case and motherboard manuals before building.

Well guys,

First of all thank you for all the answers.

I finally bought the new machine from Amazon and all the parts are being shipped to me. Here is the specs of the new machine:

Case: Corsair 5000D Airflow Black

MOBO: Gigabyte Z590 Aorus ultra DDR5

CPU: Intel 12th i7 12700K

RAM: 4x16gb Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 5600Mhz CL36

PSU: Corsair RM1000x

GPU: Gigabyte RTX3080TI Gamming OC 12GB

COOLER: Corsair Hydro H150i Capellix RGB

FANS: 7x Corsair SP120mm Elite RGB

CABLES: Corsair Kit Pro Black

SSD1: Samsung 980PRO 2TB Nvme - only for Sim installation

SSD2: WD SN750 1TB

SSD3: Kingston A2000 1TB - Windows

HDD: Seagate 2TB for backups and storage

HEADSET: Corsair Virtuoso RGB SE Black

I will mantain the same montor, LG35WN65 (3440x1440).

So wish me luck because i will connect everything by myself and it will be the first time.

I built an almost identical machine a couple of weeks ago and I’ve been very pleased with the results.

One thing I’d recommend is undervolting the 3080TI, I did this and it made a b8g difference to the GPU temp and power draw of the card with no degradation in performance.

I’ll be interested to see how you get on

Richard

It is really quite simple, I used this tutorial which was very well explained

With the Fenix A320 I find it better to lock the FPS to 30 as it is very smooth with every setting maxed out or on ultra. I am currently on a 2 hour leg and my 3080TI is sitting around 64 degrees celsius with a boost clock of 1920 MHz and power draw of only 234 watts with the undervolt in place. I haven't even tried seting the switch on the card to the overclock position, I only found this by accident a week ago lol
