Kodiak 30% off this weekend

Featured Replies

Has anyone had issues purchasing from SimWorksStudio? I went through the purchase process of the Kodiak, but didn't receive any confirmation from SimWorksStudio. However, I did get a confirmation from my credit card. I've contact SWS but haven't heard back from them yet.

I purchased it there and the download linked popped up on the bottom, and I just downloaded it.
I also received an email confirmation with the download link in it.

It's a good plane for those that like a low and slow type of GA flying (or slow and high too I suppose).

The Kodiak 100 has the following advantages over many other offerings, both free- and payware:

1. Excellent visuals both inside and out. Quality of visual doesn't decrease even when you zoom in.
2. Nice animations
3. As far as I can tell, excellent flight model
4. The WT G1000 NXi
5. Doesn't kill performance

Even at full price it provides excellent value for what is being charged.

It was on sale - that's what the thread was about - but it was short lived.  Even at it's regular price it's a great addon.

Gotcha, thanks Ryan ;).

The Pilatus PF-12 interests me more due to top speed and retractable gear.

Might be a while before it is released (both Simworks and Carenado have one in the pipeline supposedly).
