July 23, 20223 yr For those that have checked out the experimental triple monitor functionality in SU10 beta, what are your thoughts? I'm keen to try it, but I'm waiting until the final SU10 release in August (had a bad experience with SU9 beta, so I'm content to wait).
July 23, 20223 yr There are some very informative YT videos out there from people who tried it. For example: Most of what is said on the Internet may be the same thing they shovel on the regular basis at the local barn.
July 23, 20223 yr Commercial Member I tried it. I have a 43" 4K screen in the center and two 32" curved HD screens left and right of it. Multimonitor works, in a way. The problem that I'm having is that I can only swivel the camera in the sub windows, I can't move it. That makes for a very weird perspective shift when looking from side to side. And of course it takes a heavy toll on performance, no surprises there. I still prefer NVidia Surround (replacing the big center screen with a third 32" curved). LORBY-SI

My reasons exactly the same (you can't shift the screens, only swivel them). Another reason: In surround you have the 'Bezel Correction' feature to compensate for the bezels between the screens. I use '49' as the setting. Note: after applying a bezel correction number nothing will change because at that point you are still in your old screen resolution. You must leave 'configure surround' and go to 'change resolution' to bring on the effect. I change from 3840 x 1080 to 'bezel corrected 3889x1080' as my new resolution. Only at that point do I see the huge improvement that bezel correction brings. The difference between 3889 and 3840 = 49, which was the value I entered in the bezel correction window of the 'configure surround' screen.
