"not in data base"

Featured Replies

Hi

I have a problem with the FMC on the PMDG B737 NGXu plane that does not pick up airports at all, and keeps telling me ""not in data base""

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I had that happen once and I bought a subscription to navigaraph (you can cancel immediately after) and it installed the latest airac info directly in the FMS of all compatible aircraft, including PMDG products. IDK if that would help?

Since you're saying that your FMC does not show up any airports, suggest you post in the PMDG forum or open a trouble ticket with PMDG. The NGXu comes with a good database of airports. You should not have to upgrade this database of airports to show the ones included with the NGXu.

PMDG should came with an old set of navdata, if you got NOT IN DATABASE an all airport, it's likely an installation corruption.

Try reinstall without AV on, if that doesn't help, contact PMDG on their support ticket system.

Have you run the FSUIPC Makerwys 5.13,that should fix the issue,if you have not got the Makerwys 5.13 download it from the FSUIPC website and extract it to your flight sim folder.

Under your main P3D folder is a folder called “PMDG”, with a sub folder called “NavData”. Inside that subfolder is a file called APT_RWY.dat.

Delete that file. It will be automatically be rebuilt the next time you load a PMDG aircraft, and it should fix your problem.
