August 14, 20223 yr Really glad to see the first release of this product. I'm having an issue with the aircraft doors continually opening and closing during pushback with the (obvious) resulting alarms in the cockpit. This only started since I installed FS2Crew for FENIX. There are several limitations with the first update (limited voices, limited airlines listed, computer voices rather than the more human ones that I am used to in the A32nx version) - I assume these will be enhanced later? Thanks, David
August 14, 20223 yr Commercial Member Hi David, Please use our new forum: www.forum.fs2crew.com We're trying to make people switch. For the doors: Not sure about that. Are you using pushback express? Running pre-flight events? Voices: We are experimenting with synthetic voices. They've reached the point now where they sound about 95 percent human, so we decided to take the chance and make the leap. We never used them in the past because they sounded terrible, but now they're sounding pretty good to they point where I can accept them and they don't irritate me. MSFS uses the same ones. The main advantage is we can change the software, procedures, checklists, etc., very, very fast with them. If we use human voices, it's a much bigger hassle, and if one artist's voice changes or they disappear, etc., then everything goes to pot and can't update the software. We however know that make everyone happy in FS is a tough game. So we're developing a tool to allow users to create and distribute their own human voice sets very easily. ETA on that: Soon. However, the same problem exists. We update the software, make a big change, they have to record again. Airline call signs: We're releasing a hotfix today with more of them added. We can create them very, very fast. Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
August 15, 20223 yr First: Thank you FS2Crew Team for the Fenix Version. I bought it today and tried over several hours, in VR too. Mostly all works fine. I had the same issue with the door, but its just when you open the pushback app and let running the preflight events automatically. If you do this step by step, the door can be closed normally. I had still some problems with the Fenix Version on landing. My copilot don`t want to listen me and when I ask for landing checklist, he stays silent 😉 But the rest works very well. Now we just need that the pushback too is working with the rudders on the Fenix version and I will be super happy. thx for all Brian cheers toby

We are the only 3rd party tool pushback tool that support the updated Fenix and FBW this way. Please update to the latest version via the Product Manager! B. Hi, where does FS2CREW take the value for the pitch trim from? It's being set to something entirely different from what I've entered on the perf page (UP1.5 [what FS2CREW did] instead of DN0.1 [correct]). EDIT: Also clear rad nav does not work. It does nothing. Not fun to fly A320 with fs2crew when it has been messed up. Airbus changed all its procedures not too long ago. The Below the Line stuff is now gone. Why Airbus did it... you'd have to ask them. There's a link to the FS2Crew manual on your desktop. We modelled the "new" Airbus procedures. Please check it over. You can see how things have changed a lot. B.
