June 26, 200718 yr Wow! 707 knots gs!And I thought 605 kts was fast (I got that in the sim once).I guess the Concorde beat all of those GS records though. I guess Conc is not in the same category of aircraft.RhettAMD 3700+ (@2585 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2gb Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8 (1T), WD 150 gig 10000rpm Raptor, WD 250gig 7200rpm SATA2, Seagate 120gb 5400 rpm external HD, CoolerMaster Praetorian Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
June 27, 200718 yr The winds in Arizona is few months back were blowing 100 knots up around 30,000. I was camping and listening to the ARTCC traffic around the state. Some of the pilots were really frustrated trying to get around the area where it was blowing the worst.
