On the way to KGSO for some maintenance and an update. In the pattern for 23R at Greensboro, looking down at  Belews Lake  and Duke Power Co.'s Belews Creek Station, one of the most efficient coal powered plants in the world.  The power plant has long been a key visual cue for pilots.  (thanks to the MSFS addon "we love VFR 2" for the power plant and plume!)

(The title brought to mind "Simon & Garfunkel"....🙂... was actually listening to that song just a few days ago...in a "CD"...)

Anyway, very nice and expansive shot...Frank...! That Power Station sure seems ideal as a local navaid...for pilotage...🙂...

Haha...I had the exact same first thought...."I wish I was, homeward bound". One of my (many) favorite songs! 🙂
