September 27, 20223 yr I have followed the instructions to the letter and still the engines will not start. I am wasting so much time that i should be enjoying in the air and my finger is hovering over "uninstall". I hesitate as 1, I paid good money and 2, there might be a problem that I'm unaware of. I have P3D v 5.3, and my Lear package is V4.3c. Please help as I'm running out of hair to pull out! John
September 27, 20223 yr Tell us how you try to start engine step by step ? I also have v4.3c on P3Dv5.3 and this plane work great...
September 27, 20223 yr Try this: Look for the key command which sets mixture full rich and press that key combo. If I'm remembering correctly, some jet aircraft (it might be this Lear and it might be a different one) need this before the engines will start. (I know this doesn't make sense, and really, what does anymore?; and I'm sorry to not have time to look up the key combo, but I have to cook dinner!) Enter Shift+1 to bring up the Hangar window and click on All Systems Off, then click Ready to Start to set all the switches. 3. Click the left Generator switch down into the start position. 4. When the N1 Turbine Speed (top engine gauge) for the left engine reaches about 20% (about 2 on the gauge), move the left throttle up a short distance. The left engine should start. Click the left generator switch up into the Gen position. 5. Now move the Right Generator switch down into the start position. 6. When the N1 Turbine Speed (top engine gauge) for the right engine reaches about 20% (about 2 on the gauge), move the right throttle up a short distance. The right engine should start. Click the right generator switch up into the Gen position. Note when you clicked All Systems Off the throttles moved down into the cutoff position. To do this manually, you have to click on the side of the throttle arm. I think the throttles have to initially be in the cutoff position to start the engines. Al Edited September 28, 20223 yr by ark
