Modern horror stories. Turn out the lights and eat some popcorn.....

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

I wish I could find my favourite doomsday cartoon from the Internet, which showed a large crowd of people watching the asteroid plunge through the atmosphere less than a minute before impact and, instead of fleeing in terror, they are all just standing there with smartphones held high, recording the event.

Now that's funny!  Smartphones have become an important piece of one's anatomy.  Holding one up to record the comet coming down to wipe you out would just be a natural, involuntary, muscle reaction.

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

well if you truly accept your fate and resign yourself to being a witness to the spectacle the last thing you'd be doing is reacting for the smart phone. Remind me of the crowd photo were all but one in the crowd are saluting Heir word not allowed.
