November 6, 20223 yr L-39...marvelous to see this one here.... yes, Jack, I recall....it was a perpetual classic and a popular a/c to fly, among us...! Great set of pictures...the overhead view of Atlanta Airport never ceases to amaze me...simply so many Rwys...!! For several years, wherever I would fly in Delta, domestically, I would plan it as a 1-stop flight through KATL...🙂...it has been consistently the busiest (passenger no.) airport in the world, and I read it regained its rank in 2021...

Thanks! I was there when they built that fifth runway, what a huge job that was. Now when I drive on the highway it's always neat to see jets taxiing right above me on the bridge. Jack Sawyer
November 6, 20223 yr Nice Jack. The first one with the red star is one of two I own. I also got Red Thunder I think it's called. Once WT finishes their GNS refreshes both will be able to navigate a lot better using GPS. They'll be able to do things like we could with the old RXP GNS gauges. I like the red star one now better than the G3X and GNS Red Thunder version. Did you know these were done by Mike Johnson of Lotussim? Obviously not to the extreme detail of the original Lotus L39 systems. But it's the same guy, contracted by Microsoft. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

Only this model will bring my PC to 3 FPS. Yes, I actually communicated with Mike last week. He helped but in my opinion Asobo didn’t do as good of a job as his original. Sad really. Jack Sawyer
November 7, 20223 yr nice shots. I have the Reno pack as well, but was disappointed with the L-39 somehow All my FSX/P3D repaints are here on Avsim, for my MSFS repaints, go to FS.2

I have to agree, poorly implemented, almost nothing in the cockpit works. This is why I bought the T-45 the next day. Huge disappointment in the L-39. Jack Sawyer
