November 7, 20223 yr I loved TNG, particularly the episode 'The Inner Light'. One of the most intriguing stories of all, and brilliant script writing. I believe it won several awards. Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org

DS9 was superb for writing too, and Elim Garak an excellent character. Some of his lines are iconic. Edited November 7, 20223 yr by martin-w
November 7, 20223 yr The Wounded was another great episode, where the captain of a starship goes rogue. So intelligent and thoughtful. Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org
November 7, 20223 yr I especially liked the way NG writers dealt with time. Confusing but very logical. Being a native San Franciscan I loved the episode where they returned to old San Francisco to find Data's head. And they interfaced with a meddling Mark Twain and Picard first met Guinan. I think that was my favorite episode. We get NG reruns here on BBC America. Noel Edited November 7, 20223 yr by birdguy The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
November 7, 20223 yr Administrators According to the "Urban Dictionary" A gunyon is a mix of tobacco and marijuana packed into a bong or 'gunnie'. I think that was Guinan! Noel Oh yes, one of my favorite episodes too, I particular liked the episode where Picard, Data and Deanna and I recall Geordie too, were heeding back to the Enterprise and they find it frozen in time, due to pockets of temporal distortion. The Enterprise was in the midst of a warp breach. Turns out that the Romulan Warbird, also frozen in time, had alien youngsters hibernating in its engines micro-singularity, accidentally placed their by the alien's. Timescape I recall the episode was called. Oh yes, and of course the episode where Scotty is found on a ship that had crashed on a Dyson Sphere. Scotty was stored in the transporter pattern buffer.
