COM1/2 issue

Featured Replies

Tried using the beta release and had an immediate issue with X-Plane 12, Cessna 172SP, Garmin 530.

It won't let me switch from COM/MIC1 to COM/MIC2. It just flips it back to COM/MIC1. It also auto sets the frequency on the 530 even though I believe I have this disabled.

Where is the setting(s) that control how p2atc interacts with the comms/530?

With last update P2ATC and beta12, I have problems with radio too. P2ATC assignet frequncy, but not accepted this frequency.

Have you checked out the troubleshooting manuals.  The com settings are in p2atc setup in config.   The one that comes to mind is coms reverse.

also getting this. first flight with XP beta 12. latest beta of p2atc. toliss a319.

actually, it keeps forcing ground freq onto com 1 and won't switch to the stdby.

no matter what I put in stdby, it switches momentarily and then switches back. worked fine on XP beta 11.

maybe the same issue? maybe not.

I have same issue with 2 different planes using XP12 RC2.  Something keep assigning the ground frequency. Didn't have this issue with XP11. It could be a XP12 issue.

The aircrafts are

  • FlyJSim Q400
  • Airfoils Lab C172NG

Edit : I have disabled co-pilot Option under Speech tab. Both "Respond to radio" and "change frequencies" are unchecked.

Making changes in the cockpit get overridden by something.

I shutdown P2A and made changes in cockpit and still something keeps overriding it.

Good news! Found the issue.  There is tag war with default X-Plane 12 ATC auto tuning which is constantly forcing frequency to "recommended radio freq" even if user manually change it in cockpit or P2A set it to something else. This is the case even if default XP12 ATC is not being used!

Make sure untick "Auto-tune recommended frequencies"
