New Milviz Beaver issue

Featured Replies

Anyone else seeing the right side of the cockpit blurry in VR?  It's very difficult for me to make out the GPS and I can't even read what is on the tablet.  The left and center seem fine and I have no issue making out what is on those.  I have sharpening turned up all the way.  I'm also seeing a distortion of the land when looking through the prop disc.  No reprojection turned on.

Thanks, LouP

Well sorry to keep adding to this but I was able to clear it up playing with the settings but the frame rates went down to the low teens from where it always had been in the mid 40s previously.  I thought we were supposed to get better performance with the same visuals.  Anyone can increase frames by turning down your settings to a point where you can't even read stuff anymore.  offensive initials not allowed

Also, while I'm ranting, why does Asobo have to change my settings with an update, anyway.  It's happened in the past several times.

In case anyone is interested, I've narrowed it down to the Beaver itself.  I switched to another aircraft and was able to maintain clarity while turning down the video settings and getting back my performance.  So, it appears that the Beaver, for some reason, requires higher settings in order to see clearly throughout the cockpit in VR.  Very strange, I've never had an issue with one half the cockpit before in VR.

Is there nobody else experiencing this in VR with the new SU11 Beaver?

I tested this but not with VR as I don't have a headset.  Might be worth asking at their discord.  However, technically the plane is owned by Microsoft now so you may have to submit it as a bug at Zendesk:

I have beta-tested the Beaver with VR and it worked beautifully, but that was of course not with the 40th anniversary edition yet. Maybe something changed there?

I agree it works great but how are the visuals on the right side of the cockpit?  I can't read the tablet at all it's so blurry.  If I clear it up by turning up the resolution, my frames drop like a rock.

I just finished my first flight in the Beaver and yes, the ipad was blurry in VR…. However when i started my flight i didn’t remember it being so noticeable. I did mess with graphics settings during the evening though. My main concern actually is the windscreen tint which is quite strong. An overcast day becomes very dark through the windscreen.
