November 15, 20223 yr Just in case some Warthog user is having trouble with control settings, here is how I finally have mine set up. Primary Controls -> Set Cyclic Longitudinal Axis (joystick back and forwards) reverse checked Set Cyclic Lateral Axis (joystick side to side) reverse checked Collective Axis (same as fixed wing throttle) reverse checked. I still haven't figured out the pitch trim yet. I had no idea ASOBO had defined helicopter settings, until today and I almost missed it, it was just mentioned in passing, in a post. I was using the normal plane setup. I'm pretty sure going with the "helicopter" settings seem better, maybe placebo. I remember seeing someone post that their Guimbal (or whatever) wouldn't lift off, one needs to flip on the "clutch" under the red cover. edit** Finally discovered the "increase" and "decrease" rotor "longitudinal" and "lateral" buttons. You will also need a 5th button - "Reset Trim". I originally tried the "set" buttons instead of the "increase" and "decrease. That did nothing Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's

Add the right stick to the rudder-torque-pedal axis, and the rear trigger right e.g. to throttle-collective axis, and the left trigger to full collective throttle cut. Hope ASOBO make some day both side rear triggers for throttle like other Sims, and when both not pressed, throttle is in the middle, and right to up and left to down, or the option too to have one trigger for all the throttle-collective movement. Then two buttons for manually throttle e.g. Y up B down, and all you want, you can leave X button free and use it to combine with others for many more functions etc.. A bit tricky when lowering the throttle-collective to full but much better to me. Better maybe the right stick in longitudinal for collective axis and both triggers one for left torque and right torque-ruder axis, while the triggers don´t work in full movement of collective like other flight simulators, I think this maybe better. I was flying well, and now I have to leeearn again to fly…, with the new different cofig.
