San Francisco Terminal

Featured Replies

Hello All, I have had FSX ever since it came out and the same thing is bothering me about it. In San Francisco, the International Terminal is a clear blue like the textures have not loaded. I have also had similar problems at other airports. Does anyone know how to fix this?-Dylan

I would start off first by placing the origial DVD into the drive. When it loads ask for a repair/reinstall so FSX can be sure all files were loaded correctly when you first installed the program.Once that is done and if the problem still exsit start looking at the drivers you are using for your video card.

. . . some idea of your hardware would help a diagnosis, Dylan.

I have a nVidia GeForce 7900 GS, I run Windows XP Media Center, and I use a HP Media Center PC m7330n.

. . . sooo. . . for starters you can use another gig of ram: FSX and it's OS will use around 1.3 gig of system memory.

If you have 256mb video memory on that 7900GS, that can fill up quickly in FSX.I would make sure I had the latest (or the best...you would have to ask around...) driver version too.RhettAMD 3700+ (@2585 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2gb Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8 (1T), WD 150 gig 10000rpm Raptor, WD 250gig 7200rpm SATA2, Seagate 120gb 5400 rpm external HD, CoolerMaster Praetorian

Hello All, After doing many tests on my computer I have concluded that it is not my video memory. I also have an up to date driver and my terminals in San Francisco are still showing up like they are missing some textures :-(. I installed FS2004 to see if it did the same and all of the terminals in FS2004 where normal. Any more suggestions for this problem? Here are some pictures.52b%38%30gz.jpgDoes anybody if these are just missing textures? Could I transfer them from FS9 to FSX?Dylan

That is what the default FSX Terminal B looks like. You are looking through a color glass which also shows what is on the other side. There is nothing wrong with your Computer and everyone that has the ability to run FSX properly will see the same thing.I am not sure if the real Terminal B has all that glass on the 1st floor but that is what the FSX designers used.

It's the same texture they use for the top of the control tower to allow you to see through them as if you were stationed up there.

Thanks
