It's been a while, but with SU11 and a new build PC I'm finally approaching a workable system after a few months of issues. Having a completely new build PC, so new install of Windows etc, has been both a blessing and a curse. Nice to know there's no old junk floating around in the registry and all the other little nooks and crannies where apps tend to hide their rubbish without bothering to inform you, but also you tend to forget all the little tweaks you made to your system over the years and then it's a lot of head-scratching and re-download utils etc.

Anyway, got myself a system I'm pretty happy with for now. May go for a graphics upgrade next year but we'll see - the 3090ti is working well now alongside the new R9 7900X, and after much faffing around I've got a working screenshot setup now. Using the Xbox Game Bar to take screenies, as it's now producing HDR .jxr files and SDR .pngs automatically. The pngs are obviously not as fancy as the jxrs, but are pretty good nonetheless, so a quick jpg conversion and I'm sorted.

I had gotten thoroughly fed up with the sim all through SU9 and SU10 - both those really played havoc on my system, but SU11 and the new box have got me grinning insanely in front of the screen again. I'd even stopped buying addons! But now it's sale time and I'm back.

Don't like to buy stuff from the marketplace, but got a couple of little things in the sale, so here's a few shots around Cairns (YBCS) in the KA10M, which seems like a fun little toy for exploring up close and cost me all of about £3.00. Really dark miserable day here in real life, but when I can see all this on my big 55" HDR monitor the world feels a much nicer place!

So, have some sunshine - it's good for you!

Glad that you're enjoying your sim experience once again. And agreed: It's nice to see some warmer places on the screen after a cold and blustery day like we've been having here.

Glad you've been improving and upgrading your setup, Andy...it will be worth it, for sure...

Nice series of images out of this coastline...!

Those warm waters look inviting....it's been quite frigid here the last month.
