Where do you guys get your profiles from for new planes? Specifically, does anybody have a working A20N or similar working profile for PFPX? I've been trying to add the A320-251N CFM variant but haven't had any luck. Interestingly I was able to add FlightFactor's A359 but I just cannot get the A20N to show up in the aircraft editor. Any accurate aircraft profiles, for that plane or any others that are accurate, would be much appreciated, or a pointer on where I should go to find these now. Thanks. I got an A20N performance file (for C:\Users\Public\Documents\PFPX Data\AircraftTypes) and an A20N aircraft template (C:\Users\Public\Documents\PFPX Data\AircraftTemplates) to share. Just write me a direct message with your e-mail and I'll share it with you if you want. I did a search but I know know anymore where I got it from.
November 9, 20241 yr The real problem with PFPX is the performance file which is encrypted. An example: The Fenix A321 is available with ACT 1 and ACT 2, unfortunately the PFPX .per file is encrypted and not editable and, therefore, it is not possible, for example, to change the Max take-off parameter of PFPX for the A321 (engine type IAE V2533-A5), set at 89,000 Kg in the .per file. If anyone can do it, please come forward.
January 31Jan 31 Moderator Sorry, I'm not using MSFS but for planning purposes the sim used is probably irrelevant. I've just started a world tour using PFPX and TopCat for planning. First leg is EGLL-KBOS. I wanted to include NA tracks but that option on the Tracks display is blank. Has that option been removed by a third party? Here's the plan that PFPX came up with. Seems reasonable but the inability to see NATs is disappointing. You can however switch the tracks to manual mode on the status bar and copy paste the whole page content of NATS from https://notams.aim.faa.gov/nat.html
January 31Jan 31 Moderator Thanks Steve. I did that and saved the file as a ots extension in the Tracks subfolder but it didn't load. The encoding is Unix LF - an option not available in Notepad++. January 31Jan 31 Just paste the copied text into the PFPX NATS track tab having switched to manual mode on the status bar.

So you don’t save that data as a file as the existing ones are encrypted. Thanks! Ray (Cheshire, England). January 31Jan 31 I was a devoted user of PFPX up until a few weeks ago, when I finally switched to TOPCAT+SimBrief. I had a homemade OFP template that I perfected over countless hours, I had a fleet of aircraft that I meticulously fine-tuned, and I had a good grasp of the features and intricacies of the app. I tried to use just about every flight planning option, even the esoteric ones, at least a few times. Alas though, the days of PFPX are numbered. First, all development stopped. Then Aerosoft changed the official support forum to Read Only. Then the site that warehoused all the multitudes of performance files closed. Then, as of the last few months, the weather subscriptions no longer work. Yes, there is a work-around for the weather: fetch the weather manually, and then copy-and-paste it into PFPX. For some users, that's not a problem, but for me it meant it was time to switch to something a bit easier. I know SimBrief doesn't have everything that PFPX does, and I was very sad to say goodbye to an old friend, but SimBrief now strikes a better balance when it comes to performance and ease of use--at least for me. I didn't uninstall PFPX... and if by some miracle, support is someday restored, I'll switch back.
