@ 1200x1024. @ 1600 x 1200, it appears that the benefit of a faster cpu is negated by the graphics throughput.scott s..

From 2.66GHz to 4Ghz and just 2 fps at 1600x1200 something is wrong with that on a 8800GTS! The settings are too low. The stock 6750 is not going to run a 58fps in actual use, except over the ocean. I'd love to change to my settings, and put a f18 at JKF to test with AI at 50%. The 6750 stock would be lucky to get 10-14fps, but I'd bet the 4Ghz clocked one would get a nice 20-25. Thats the key with FSX is to get over a min rate of 20-25.Thanks for the post was interesting to see.tom's hardware has some FSX benchs here:http://www23.tomshardware.com/graphics_sli...2=819&chart=353It's not clear what CPU was used?

I doubt they had mid-high sliders and 100 AI aircraft flying around like I do at KDFW.But it does give a point of reference I suppose. No surprise to me that the higher resolutions saw a reduction in the spread of fps. That's how it always works as res increases, the gpu comes into play more.RhettAMD 3700+ (@2585 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2gb Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8 (1T), WD 150 gig 10000rpm Raptor, WD 250gig 7200rpm SATA2, Seagate 120gb 5400 rpm external HD, CoolerMaster Praetorian
